Course Overview

Effects of Force

A force can:

1. Make a stationary object move.
2. Stop a moving object.
3. Increase or decrease the speed of an object.
4. Change the direction of motion.
5. Change the shape or size of an object.

6. Balanced and Unbalanced Forces

Balanced forces: Equal forces acting in opposite directions. They produce no change in motion.

Example:
